2 Weeks Old

At 2 weeks old, Ava is holding her head up and focusing on our faces. 

We love to watch Ava sleep. She has some interesting hand movements and always smiles in her sleep.

Her shirt says it all!! :)

Finally we got some "girl" outfits!! Ava is modeling some new outfits that Grandma and Grandpap Snyder bought for her.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Ava went to the dr yesterday. She is 8 pounds 8 ounces. She enjoyed her photo shoot today much more than her doctors visit yesterday!!

Disco Shoes

One of Ava's very favorite gifts is a pair of disco shoes that Aunt Amy bought for her. Aren't they pretty!!

Doctor's Visit

Ava had her first doctor's appointment on March 12th. She hated it. Once we got to the examination room, she didn't care to be in her birthday suit. She started to scream, and then made all of the other babies scream too!! (what a leader) Everything checked out ok. She is modeling her outfit she wore to the doctor's exam.

Coming Home

On March 11, 2010, we all got to come home. Ava is modeling her Noah's Ark coming home outfit. She only cried on the way to the car but slept the rest of the way home. However, that night, she did not sleep at all and neither did Mommy and Daddy!!

Ava's Birthday: 3/8/10

Theses pics were all taken right after Ava's birth. Ava Lauren was born at 10:46pm on March 8, 2010. Anxiously waiting to see her were Aunt Amy, Grandma and Grandpap Snyder, and Grammy and Pap Shockey.

Last Hurrah!!!!!!!

 

Today is 03/07/10.  Our Little Shock has yet to make an appearance even after being induced....TWICE!!!!!  On 03/08/10, we will try a THIRD time to be induced. Hopefully the third time is a charm, and Cal Ripken's number 8 will be good luck for us!!  We decided to go out to eat as a last hurrah at Guiseppes.

40 Weeks!!!!!!

40 weeks!! My due date was 03/02/10, and Shock Baby did not make an appearance.
