October 2011-19 Months

 Ava's favorite food is pizza!! She knows the color blue. She also knows several new shapes which are: square, triangle,  and heart. Every morning, she checks the weather and will tell us if it's windy or rainy. When it rains, she will announce that rain makes everything all wet. A new sentence this month, " I want to do it my way." 

Baby#2 update: Baby's heart beat was 158. And, the baby is estimated to weigh 4 pounds 8 ounces. 

Ava, Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Amy, and Myla went trick or treating. When someone gave Ava candy, she would say, "Halloween and thank you." Ava was an unicorn.

Happy Halloween!! Ava loves witches and wanted to wear her "witch shirt" all the time. 

Ava loves to sing, and this was her first time singing into a microphone!!

 Ava will talk on her play phone and have pretend conversations. But, she will not talk on the real phone except for saying hi, bye, and blowing kisses.

September 2011-18 Months

Happy 18 Months!! This was a busy month for Ava. We attended Crusin Main Street, celebrated Daddy's birthday, and went to the beach!! Since Mommy is now showing, Ava will say that Mommy has a baby in her belly and kisses Mommy's belly. Ava knows the star shape and can  count to 20. Ava knows the definition of above, below, up, down, on, and off. A new sentence this month was, "I am nice." 

Baby #2 update: Baby's heartbeat was 151 at Mommy's dr apt. Baby moves ALL the time but most often when Mommy lays down to go to bed. This month Baby started moving/kicking stronger and Mommy's whole stomach moves. 

Ava attended a car cruise called Cruisin' Main Street in a poddle skirt made by Daddy. Ava enjoyed seeing all the cars cruise Main Street. 

Aunt Amy and Myla also attended Cruisin Main Street. Daddy made Myla a poddle skirt too.

Happy Birthday Daddy!! Ava enjoyed helping Daddy blow out his candles. After he blew them out, Ava said again. She we lit the candles again so Ava could blow them out.

Ava was baptized on 9-18-11. Aunt Amy bought Ava her baptism dress. Ava is such a pretty girl!! :)

We are all smiles because we were getting ready to go to the beach!!

Ava LOVES the beach. She jumped in the waves and built sand castle. And, she finally LIKES the sand and does not cry when she walks in it!!

The last day at the beach was chilly, so we rode the indoor rides. Ava loved the carousel the best!!

Ava loved the "Big Blue Bird" in the lobby of our hotel.

On the way home from the beach, we went to a pumpkin patch that had every size and color of pumpkins. Mommy and Daddy told Ava she could have any pumpkin she wanted, and she chose a small white pumpkin in the first picture.

August 2011-17 Months

 Happy 17 Months!! This was a big month for Ava. She pooped in the potty for the first time. She can sing her ABC's all by herself. She can talk in complete sentences. Her first sentences were: Mommy where are you, Do you want it, Where's the moon, and It's cold. She loves the moon and looks for the moon every night. She takes her shoes off and will say that her piggies go to the market. When someone sneezes, she says, "bless you." She will pick up anything and pretend it's a phone. She'll talk into her "phone" and have a conversation. She loves to sing and knows several songs word for word such as: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Itsy Bitsy Spider, You Are My Sunshine,  Jesus Loves The Little Children, Mary Had a Little Lamb, and  Row Row Row Your Boat. 

We had a sonogram for Shock Baby #2, and the baby is estimated weight is almost 2 pounds. 

We went to a local amusement park, and Ava loved all the rides. She especially loved the fishy ride and the helicopter ride she rode with her cousins, Jarrett and Krystal.

We went to a few car cruises. She liked Pap and Grandma Shockey's hot rod.

Ava and Myla had their first photo shoot together. At first, both cried but after awhile, they calmed down and we got some good pics.
