23 Weeks!! 8/15/10-8/21/10

Ava continues to jump in her jumperroo, sing all the time and babble....mum mum mum mum!! She likes sitting up and looking all around.  Her favorite thing to look at is the ceiling fan. The fan doesn't even have to be on for her to stare at it.

Ava helped with babysitting her cousins, Elvis and Priscilla. Neither of them want anything to do with Ava, and Priscilla would not even sit next to her. This is Elvis's spot on the couch.

Although Mickey Mouse is Ava's favorite, she loves Elmo too!! :)

Ava attended her first city council meeting on 8-19-10 with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma Shockey. Frostburg proclaimed Sept. 2nd  Back to the Fifties Day for Cruisin' Main Street Frostburg. Daddy is chairman of the event. Come to Frostburg Thursday, Sept. 2nd for a rolling oldies car cruise!! :)

5 Months!! 08/08/10-08/14/10

Ava is 5 months!!!!!! She sits up all by herself. She babbles mum mum mum mum so maybe her first word will be mama??

She loves her bath but always gives herself a blast of cold water!!

Every night Ava kisses Jason the Giraffe good night.

21 weeks: 08/01/10-8/07/10

Ava is a master at rolling over. This week she can sit up alone.  She sits up for about 20 seconds and then will fall over.

Ava got her picture taken for the newspaper for winning the cutest baby contest at the fair. She is practicing her smile for the newspaper picture.

20 Weeks: 7/25/10-7/31/10

 Ava has become a pro at rolling over. She makes a swimming motion while on the floor and has started to lift her butt up. We're thinking she'll be crawling soon.

Ava had her 4 month check up. She is 16 pounds which puts her in the 75th percentile for her age group.  She is 27 1/4 inches which puts her off the charts for her height.

Her onesie says it all......MY MOM IS SLEEP DEPRIVED!!

Mommy's family had a reunion in Pennsylvania. Mommy and Daddy packed a bag full of toys and her bouncy seat to keep her occupied. But, all Ava wanted to play with was a water bottle!!
