28 weeks old!! 09/19/10-09/25/10

Beach time!!!!! Ava's first trip to the beach was to Virginia Beach, and she LOVED it!! This was her first long distance trip. We left after work Sept.23 and got to Virginia around 1am. Ava slept the whole way.

Happy 4th Anniversary on 09/23/10!! Daddy had flowers waiting for Mommy at the hotel room....Mommy's favorite....yellow roses. 

The chilly water didn't bother Ava. She was having a great time kicking her arms and legs and laughing. Next year, she'll be swimming!!!! :) We had a great time at Virigina Beach. We went to the Neptune Festival and walked the boardwalk. We can't wait to go back!! :)

27 Weeks Old: 09/12/10-09/18/10

Cereal Time!!

Ava started to eat cereal on 09/12/10. It did not go well at all. We snapped this picture before her first bite. She hates cereal. She screamed and cried!! 

By the end of the week, she was eating cereal without crying!!

6 months!!!!! 09/05/11-/9/11/10

We camped from until Sunday, 09/05/10. And, on 09/05/10, Ava got her first tooth. It's the bottom left tooth.

Happy Birthday Daddy!! On 09/06/10 we celebrated Daddy's birthday. Aunt Amy made from scratch a yummy carrot cake...Daddy's favorite!! 

Happy 6 Months on 09/08/10!! Ava is a happy baby who loves Mickey Mouse, Elvis Presley, swinging on the front porch, and getting a bath. She continues to say mum mum mum mum.  She is an expert at sitting up,  and when on all fours, rocks back and forth. She still sleeps through the night (thank goodness)!!  She squeals for no reason at all and keeps Mommy and Daddy laughing all the time.

Ava is 17.8 pounds which puts her in the 75th % for her age group and is 27 1/2 inches which puts her in the 90th % for her age. Ava had to get 3 shots and this time screamed!!

One year ago, on 09/11/09 when Mommy was 3 months pregnant, Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Amy, Uncle Tim, Aunt Sue, and Chris went to Alaska on a cruise. Mommy and Daddy bought Shock Baby some Alaska clothes. Ava is showing them off!! Ava can't wait to go on a cruise. She's prefer a Disney cruise.

Ava is helping Grammy and Grandpappy Snyder with preparations for Great Grandma Snyder's yard sale.

Ava helped with Great Grandma Snyder's yard sale!! It was cold that day so Ava was bundled up. She enjoyed playing in her exersaucer and a box. We think she's worth more than $.25!! :)
