41 Weeks Old: 12/19/10-12/25/10

This was a big week for Baby Ava!! She celebrated her first Christmas!! Aunt Amy babysat Ava so Mommy and Daddy could finish decorating!! Mommy and Daddy did not finish decorating until Christmas Eve!!

Ava visited with Aunt Bonnie on Christmas Eve.

Santa stopped by Ava's house!!

 Santa brought Ava many gifts. She didn't understand how to unwrap at first, but she quickly learned how to walk with her walker. She can stand alone for a long time but hasn't taken a step alone yet.

Still hasn't learned how to unwrap!! But, she likes to play with her toys after Mommy and Daddy unwrap them.

Finally by the end of the night while at Aunt Amy and Uncle Tim's, Ava started to unwrap her gifts. Ava had a very busy but fun Christmas day visiting Grammy and Grandpappy Snyder, Grandma and Pap Shockey, Nene, and Aunt Amy and Uncle Tim. She was on the go from 7:30am-11pm with just a cat nap. Other than teething, she was a happy baby who got lots and lots of gifts. Thanks everyone for the gifts!!

40 Weeks Old: 12/12/10-12/18/10

Ava can multitask....holding her ball and drinking. This week Ava started to brush her own hair. After Mommy brushes her hair, she takes the brush and puts it up to her head and brushes her hair too. And, after she's done eating, if someone says "all gone", she puts her hands out and tries to say all gone. She roars like a lion and has started this week putting a blanket up to her face to cuddle when she's tired.

Ready for church. Today walking into church, Ava saw snowflakes for the first time. She put both hands out and tried to catch some snow flakes.

Give me food!!

One of Ava's favorite toys is Chris The Singing Christmas Tree. She knows to press it's hand and it sings Jingle Bell Rock. While it's singing and dancing, she likes to grab it and hug it.

ALL GONE!!!!!!

I am hungry!!

Ava had her 9 month exam this week. She was amusing herself while waiting for the doctor.

Come on doctor.....

The doctor was surprised by all of Ava's teeth. She has 6 but has several more coming in. She is 20 lbs 10 oz which puts her in the 75% for her age and is 29 in which puts her in the 90% for her age. Ava got one shot and cried. Poor baby!!

 Ava is so excited for Christmas......one more week!!

39 Weeks Old: 12/05/10-12/11/10

Ava is trying to walk. She stands on her own all the time. She is always on the move. She met Santa for the first time this week and screamed and cried. Mommy shook hands with Santa and so did Ava. But, once Ava saw Santa sit on the floor next to her, she screamed and cried. Luckily, the photographer got one good pic!!

Ava LOVES anything with music. Sing Off is her new favorite show. It's a tv show where groups sing a cappella and are competing for a record contract. During the commercials, we walk Ava around in her stroller. Once the they start to sing, she watches intently not missing a single note. She watches every episode.

Ava carries toys in both hands at the same time and has mastered crawling while both hands are full.

Ava is all smiles before eating turkey. Turkey is not her favorite!!

38 Weeks Old!! 11/28/10-12/04/10

Ava says hi and stands barely holding on to anything. She's learned to throw things and when the fall, she says, "uhh".

Ava ate mac and cheese for the first time this week and loved it!!!!!!

Ava got a new stroller/trike. When she gets old enough the stroller can be converted to a bicycle. She likes to be pushed around the house in it.

Aunt Amy's 6 month baby bump!!

Ava likes to get into EVERYTHING!! She likes to take all her toys out of the basket.
